Food for Thought
One of our favorite and most popular social events, this chapter activity was designed to feed the body, rouse the pallet and expand our culinary knowledge. Over the years, members had enjoyed occasional gatherings at dim sum restaurants in the city, and always looked forward to our annual Chinese New Years banquets. In 2009, the Executive Committee decided to take these gatherings to a higher, more organized level.
Now called "Food for Thought" (thanks to member Robert Craig), these gatherings allow members and guests to experience the rich traditions of Chinese regional cuisines at some of Atlanta's fine regional Chinese restaurants. To date, the chapter has gathered at restaurants featuring Sichuan cuisine - Chuancai 川菜, Cantonese food - Yuecai 粤菜 and Hot Pot - shaguo 砂锅. For our current and past events click here.
