Nostalgia swept through
China in the latter half of the 1990s. The bimonthly magazine Old Photos went beyond nostalgia to
reflection in telling hundreds of family stories and fostering individual views
of China’s recent history. You’ll hear the story of Old Photos and see selected photos.
The Voices of Yunnan - A Special Concert at the University of West GA

The Voices of Yunnan, a renowned Folk Troupe from the Yunnan Province in China will perform on Saturday, March 12th at 7 p.m.
at the Kathy Cashen Recital Hall on the University of West Georgia
campus. Admission is free, but seating is limited, so early arrival is
recommended.
The
performance is sponsored by the Georgia Women's Institute and Georgia
Commission on Women in partnership with West Georgia Technical College.
It is a continuation of the observance of the 105th International
Women's Day.

Join us at Canton House to welcome the year of the Monkey! Delightful dishes will include spicy garlic shrimp, salt and pepper pork chops, and the traditional steamed whole fish.
Peggy Roney will prognosticate the monkey year ahead, and a dance performance from the Atlanta Chinese Dance Academy will entertain.
Rather than our usual open silent auction, a selection of special items will be offered for sale.
The
cost is $30 (tax and tip included) per person. BYOB for those who would
