I-Hsiung Ju's Chinese Brush Paintings at the Millennium Gate Museum and the USCPFA National Convention

An exhibit of Professor I-Hsiung Ju's brush paintings will open at the Millennium Ｇate Museum （http://thegateatlanta.com/） on July the 31st, 2015 and run through October the 18th, 2015. Professor Ju's daughter, Doris, has managed her her father's paintings since his death several years ago. Doris and her family, USCPFA members, will attend the convention on September the 11th - 13th and will also have a small display of Professor Ju's work in our exhibit room at the convention. The exhibits will be a great feature at the convention - you don't want to miss this!

We would like to arrange for convention attendees from out of town to see the Millennium Gate exhibit on Sunday afternoon if they wish. Please let us know if you can be available to take some of the conventioneers there and back to the hotel on Sunday afternoon, September the 13th.

Join the Atlanta Chapter and Nikki Yu, Director of Asian Hope Adult Care Services at the King David Community Center, an outreach and support center serving the multicultural communities of Atlanta.

Enjoy a day of calligraphy, drawing, handicrafts, and a participatory group line dance led by Nikki. The senior chorus will entertain, and lunch is being provided so that we may lunch with the group. This a great chance to connect with older members of the Chinese community in Atlanta, with translators to help if needed. 

Lunch reservations are necessary to ensure all are fed, so please let Penny Blackford know by April the 11^th. She can be reached at 404.308.0775. Additionally, please arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 so that Nikki can orient the group.

Lunar New Year 2105 - The Year of the Ram: USCPFA Banquet at Canton House

Join the USCPFA as we welcome the Year of the Ram at Canton House on Ｓunday, February the 22nd, 2015. Dinner seating begins at 6:30, but come early to visit with friends and browse the auction items.

This year's dinner will feature the dish no Chinese New Year is complete without, Whole Steamed Fish, as well as other delicious treats such as, Peking Style Pork Chops; Vegetables with Garlic Sauce; and Ground Pork and Tofu Hot Pot.

Peggy will be on had to clear up a perplexing item, is it the year of the ram, goat, or sheep? And a special performance is planned for mid-meal entertainment.

The cost is $30 (tax and tip included) per person. BYOB for those who would like to partake of alcohol. Check are due to Penny Blackford by Tuesday, February the 17th, 2015. Mail checks to:
